A First for a Dummy

A lovely new lens. Taking the photo was (relatively) easy. Getting it on to my laptop was mildly perplexing. Once it arrived in my laptop it might as well have been in my underwear drawer. Hours later I have cleared out my picture folder, but now I am getting can't find files messages. Seems my computer and I are in conflict. I need Digital Photography for Dummies.
