Búðir Church

This shot belies the day we've had on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Driving through snow, ice, rain and seeing waves crashing 30 and 40 metres up into the air as they hit the rocks a few kilometres from this little church in the small hamlet in Búðahraun lava fields in Staðarsveit, which is in the western region of Iceland.

A few minutes of sun and blue sky were all that were needed to make this pretty little church stand out.
