Stover Country Park

Today I was out walking with a local walking group that completed the second part of the Templer Way,  a walk from Stover Country Park to Teignmouth.  This view was taken at the beginning of the walk from within Stover Country Park.  Although the walk was over 10 miles it was all downhill and relatively easy with contrasting scenery from woodland, disused canal routes and river estuary and ending up at the port at Teignmouth.

The Templer Way is an interesting walk that originates in Dartmoor and follows the route that granite from the quarries on Dartmoor was exported via  tramways, canal and the River Teign to Teignmouth.
