Russian Dancers

Beautiful blue-sky early morning turned in to heavy-rain early afternoon  when I'd planned to walk in to Berwick for Job No. 2. Soaked just walking to the bus stop!

But every cloud has a silver lining, as they say, and catching the bus meant half an hour to spare - just time to pop in to the Granary Gallery to see the exhibition of Berwick's Burrell Collection - artwork given to the town by William Burrell, including paintings by Degas, Boudin and Maris. Love this piece by Edgar Degas - Russian Dancers - as featured on the Berwick Visual Arts leaflet.

Met Mr M at that bar in Berwick where he plays jazz - one of THOSE evenings, really!
