Today I finally feel like I'm in my twenties. It was a lovely sunny day and I didn't have too much to do at placement which was nice.

I had a big ceilidh for my 21st last year and I got to have a smaller 22nd birthday ceilidh this evening! My first in many months.

I was invited to host a Scottish Culture evening for a Basel university international student group and the date they offered me just so happened to be my birthday. I had a lovely evening telling the group about the land I call home (even if it did make me feel a little homesick) and enjoyed watching many taste haggis for the first time and attempt some ceilidh dancing.
