FRIENDS AND CRUMPETS

Met up with friend Liz this morning for coffee and crumpets and a good long chat. Books, reading, writing, cholesterol, love of cheese, wills, can't-take-it-with-you, finding a dozen eggs in my car from weeks ago, Alzheimer's, back to books again. Several coffees and a couple of hours and we still hadn't thrashed it all out.

It was tipping with rain when we came out of the café so it was a quick trot to the car to hand over some eggs. Then I called in at a computer shop on the way home to learn that my Kobo is definitely an ex-Kobo.

More manual reading with the Hudl tonight then.
