Cornist Hall

Thomas Totty was born here in 1746 he was an Admiral who served under Lord Nelson, since then the house was owned by the Summers family. They ran the ironworks down in Shotton

The local authority then owned it and and modified it for catering in 1953

Then in 1987 it was taken over by the Napier family for weddings and good food.

They used to do a fantastic Sunday carvery here and hold discos, I've also photographed a couple of weddings in the lovely old building. Such a shame to see it like this.

My long weekend begins NOW
