Glitter Cannons all the way...

This fab group won the Chairman's Award at the COSLA Excellence Awards held this evening.

The Awards recognise and celebrate the fantastic work being done by local authorities and their partners across Scotland. All the finalists and winners were so good - inspiring stuff.

The West Lothian LGBT Youth Forum and Glitter Cannons project scooped the final accolade of the event - and so well deserved.

I was particularly moved to hear one young woman who, when asked to describe the project, said simply it had given her a loving community. How wonderful.
