RESCUED

Today was the luncheon for Christian Women's Club for our area.  For our Special Feature we invited the ladies from "Free Flight Bird and Mammal Rehab".  They brought two birds with them that had been shot in a wing and could not be recuperated to return to the wild.  You can see the wing of this little owl on one side, but the other side was just partly there.  They do take very good care of the birds they rescue.  They always hope to be able to return them to the wild.  It was very interesting.  Over all it was a very good meeting/luncheon with a very good speaker.
