Devotion

This lovely little statue was given to us several years ago by our good friends Heidy & Gary when they visited from their home in Malaysia, where Gary was born.  The statue is Chinese and shows an elderly couple, with the wife lighting the pipe for her husband.  It is beautifully made and depicts the love and devotion which grows between a couple over the years.  Sadly, Heidy died on 11 March of last year, one day before her birthday.  She had been ill for some time.  We miss her.
