Statue

I pass this statue often when I stay in Inverness (across for a couple of days to do an induction for the new PhD students). It makes me think.... Faith, Hope, and Charity used to be a standard statement of benevolence, but I think nowadays, I would rather have compassion rather than charity! Blind faith is rather suspect (in my view) and Hope without a tinge of probability is simply delusional... So I wonder what a modernist equivalent is...?
