Common Ringed Plover

This is a female, as the male in the breeding season has yellow ringed eyes. Last week they were together, this week it's only the female I can see, I hope he's alright, she looked a little forlorn without her mate. The sun is out again & the sky is again blue, but it's very windy and more rain is promised for next week. We shall see!
