Went into hospital yesterday to have my operation. Uggh. Horrendous experience but it was successful. Home now, thankfully; 1-2 months to recover and heal. Feeling shaky and in pain, but so grateful for good friends, my family, Chris and my shining lights, Lucy and Izzy. And codeine. All the codeine.
