St Mary's Church, Stamford

Today was a Stamford day.  When we arrived preparations were well under way for the 'Stamford Mid Lent Fair' with some of the larger rides being erected on the meadow.  I took a number of shots, however none were particularly blippable,  but I have put one on Flickr.

A short walk into town and St Mary's Church lent itself to a number of shots, as did the view from St Mary's to St Martin.  As St Martin wound up as a set of three I've Flickred them, and blipped St Mary.

The St Martin shots demonstrate one of the problems of photographing in Stamford.  As photogenic as it is the A16 ploughs straight through the middle - I spent a long time waiting for gaps in the traffic large enough to make it a street scene rather than a traffic scene.
