Disapproving Rabbit Refuses to Read Your Signs

And the sign said "Long-eared freaky creatures need not apply . . . "

The snow and ice are melting at the Arboretum, but it's taking some time. It may be a while before the lily pond is back in the reflection business. The creatures were out and about on this morning: the male and female cardinals, song sparrows, chipmunks, and bunnies.

That's when I caught sight of this young fella sitting on a snow drift, adamantly refusing to read the signs. Good call, rabbit. It probably says something about how you have to have a membership card to get inside - Huh!
