Sticking Brakes

My wife has been complaining that her bike brakes were sticking on,

The usual adjustments and easing had no effect so dismantled them to find the spring in one side wrongly positioned. I've never touched her brakes before so I've no idea how long they've been like it.

Anyway, repositiond, reassembled, readjusted, and all working fine.
