73/365: Spring Walk

I joined my mum and the other volunteers and friends of Kiveton Community Woodland (the former Kiveton Park Colliery), along with Brian the Ranger, for a Spring Guided Walk. It was from Shireoaks to Kiveton Park, along the Cuckoo Way (on the Chesterfield Canal) via the Parish Oven at Thorpe Salvin for lunch and refreshments.

A nice bunch of people (who do a fantastic, selfless job of caring for the local environment) and a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

It wasn't until I looked at the photo on the laptop that I noticed that all the dogs are bum first... charming! :)
