The Dipper

We're on opposite sides of the river. It rained heavily last night and the river is high.

Dippers eat small animals in the river. It must be hard work trying to catch when the river is muddy and flowing fast. When they do dive, they tend to spend quite a long time under water. This one dives in and doesn't spend much time in the water. In fact he doesn't seem very keen to go back in.

I'm lucky. I normally have my lunch before I go out for a walk.
