My son gave me this lovely notebook and bookmark for Mother's Day. He guessed I was nearly through the notebook that I use as a journal and this will make a very nice next one!

Found out that the heating had failed at church this morning (in advance) so decided not to go. My tummy was playing up a bit this morning and I was already feeling cold. I seem to be fine now and it did mean I didn't have a huge rush to get the roast ready when I got back from church. May well go this evening if the heating is working again by then, but I have a friend coming round for the day just before lunch, though my son is her friend as well so he could stay with her this evening.
