Flowers to cheer ...

On a day when I wasn't over the door (having come home accompanied by a vicious virus) it was a joy to discover these lovely flowers from my London family sitting in the porch. (The flowers, that is - not, alas, the family).

And once again the dilemma over punctuation : is it singular possessive, or plural?
