Before & After Series #4 - Guest Bath

Moving on upstairs, we come to the guest bathroom.  It was the only bath on this level when we moved here, and as you can see from the photo at far left, it was hideous.  There were no windows, it was cramped and dark, the sink was chocolate brown (particularly revolting first thing in the morning, when one spat one's toothpaste into it!), the bath and loo were ugly beigey-brown which never ever looked clean, and there was an all-pervasive odour of mildew.

To combat this litany of evils, we pushed the back wall (the one with the toilet against it in the "before" picture) back a good five or six feet, and added a dormer with a large window.  We also added a second window (to the left, in the middle picture), and moved the loo around the corner, behind the shower wall.  A fresh coat of paint, new hardwood floors, and clean white fixtures make all the difference!
