Special Lunch

It was my pleasure to host a lunch for 3 Mums today. My wife, my daughter and her best friend, all three of them very special Mums and of course their children participated. Maybe it’s a sign of my advancing years but I did find some of the behaviour of the youngsters a tad challenging! Draught beer accompanied my meal, kept me calm. I just loved the story of the Baron of Bedford and how the eagle on his shield was adopted as a symbol for Bedford after his death in battle.
