The struggle begins

With the start of every painting is the realization that this is hard!  And that I might fail.  And doing it publicly in this forum is scary.  But here's my start of Peaches - blocking in lights and darks, I chose my darkest dark and my lightest light.  Two main challenges I'm seeing already - capturing Peaches - who she really is - and making the sea behind her go back and away.  Wish me luck!
