Turquoise

If you had to decide on a tranquil colour I think that would be it. There is something beautiful about that colour as it appears in nature. The places it can be found are closely related to places you'd like to plonk a hammock & do nothing for many days in a row. We found a few of those places today. Including the island we circumnavigated on foot while the guides cooked our lunch.
Another busy day snorkelling the waters off the coast of Palawan, this time further south from the little village of Port Barton. Left to our own devices on a boat with little to communicate we agreed on good snorkelling & less people on the island for lunch. This was our second stop - just off the beach of what appeared to be an lovely place to stay.
Snorkelling; I have decided is something you need to take an interest in. Not necessarily the skills, but the inquisitiveness of trying to spot &/or identify as many creatures as you can - flora & fauna. All I can report is I did find Nemo & fish come in many colour combinations. Coral colours are also getting more difficult to find with much of it bleached
An afternoon of more postcards - staying out of the sun. It's lovely & all but you can get too much. The sting site still malingers between pain & itchy with a good size rash marking the area.

For now, 500 awaits. It's my call.
It's also my #300th
