Another flower

I apologise for posting an image of my hibiscus flowers again.  I have two excuses (three, maybe).  One, it is foul outside today.  Two, I have been testing out my new compact camera.  And three is that I'm just rather lacking in energy and enthusiasm to try anything new just now.

I do find these flowers amazing, if that is yet another excuse.  In fact, I'm thinking about getting my proper macro gear out and trying something closer.  It's called 'working the subject', and if that's all you've got at the present time, then it makes sense that it is something to be enthusiastic about!
