The Christening

The occasion that had brought us Up North was the christening of Harry. Harry is the long awaited first child of Rachel, who was our live in nanny for 7 years when my sons were little?  Her family became part of our family.  Her parents – in this photo,  were a third set of grandparents to my boys.  It was a very happy occasion.  Rachel was 19 when she came to live with us and look after Richard; then 6 months, now 21, so you can work out she has waited a long time to have her own child.  He is very much loved and an absolute cutie.   There was no way we were going to miss the opportunity to catch up with her and her parents and the two new men in her life.
