Sad News

My first thoughts are for Joe and the staff, I can imagine that the turmoil in their lives is a lot more real than ours. Good luck to any of you who might read this, your support and encouragement on a personal level was terrific. Thanks for everything.

Looking forward, I would hope the community can hang in there until one of the many feasible sounding plans flying around Facebook and the forums starts to get some legs and then put it's force behind what ever raises from the ashes.

Kickstarter?

A method for saving batches of blips automatically to Word.
Curtesy of Ben; aka Alphaincident.

You will need; Windows, Chrome (google's browser) and a newish version of Word

download from this link
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/52144362/blipripv1.0.docm

1. Open your latest blipfoto entry in Chrome
2. In Chrome, goto [Settings] > [Show Advanced Settngs...] and set "Download location" under [Downloads] to a directory to save all the blip entries (one webpage for each entry)
3. Open the file Blipripv1.0.docm
If you are warned about macros, go ahead and enable them. All this macro does is send key presses to Chrome
to automate what you would otherwise do manually.
4. In word, click the button at the top of the document ("Run the thingy that downloads blip entries")
5. Make sure that blipfoto entry is the currently active tab in chrome. Enter the number of entries to download and the wait time between actions. Default is 3 seconds, to make sure things have time to load, etc. Only change (up to 9 seconds) if you run into probs due to a slow connection. Click [Download Entries] and don't touch until it finishes.
