Who is going to save us?....

After the dreadful news today that Blipfoto is the Mary Celeste of the internet - cruising through the ether without anyone in control, except the algorithms- I think we are all in need of some guardian angel, some miracle to save our community.
 
Surely we aren’t going to be left to die? 
 
What puzzles me is that it is Blipfoto, which has gone into liquidation, not Polaroid-Blipfoto.
 
Methinks there is something fishy going on...
 
Meanwhile I am busy backing up...all 1,300 blips. 
 
This has been a great community and Joe with team Blip Central created something really special though I did wonder where their revenue stream was coming from once all the grants had run out.
 
   
Lets hope they don’t pull the plug on the site tonight.
