For lovers of irony ... This is "Europe House", the London office of the European Parliament in Smith Square.

Political historians will recognise it from its previous life as Conservative Central Office when Margaret Thatcher and Cecil Parkinson would wave from the windows to celebrate their 1980s election victories.

I wonder whether it was a deliberate act by the EP to make its London base here?
