Bumblebee

This bumblebee has been visiting different hellebores in my garden all day. I think it's a queen Bombus pratorum, the Early Bumblebee. Apart from this, I've only seen a few honey bees and small flies. Spring is progressing painfully slowly!

It's sad to hear about the liquidation and possible demise of Blipfoto, but I will keep posting until the bitter end, whilst exploring other sites like 365Project.
