Historic house

We have headed up north this week and are staying in Paihia.

The picture is of the Williams House, built on land that was "part of the Anglican mission station established in Paihia by Reverend Henry Williams and his brother, William, in the 1820s". The current house was built in 1920 and was lived in by the Williams family until the end of the 20th century. It is now used as the town library.
