Accident

Today I went out on my bike with my friend Pete and had a really good ride until I was about 1/4 mile from home when I rode into a pothole at the side of the road.  I went over the handlebars and landed on my face.

My helmet and glasses were broken and my left eye has the most spectacular bruising you have ever seen.  Jane said I look like one of those old people on Crimewatch who are beaten up.

I will spare you the gory picture of my face but have blipped this picture of the facial bone X-Ray that was done at hospital.  Fortunately nothing broken.

I intend to post a #blipfototogether picture tomorrow when you will be treated to a picture of my bruised face
