For anyone who's wondering what Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel are, they were TOP TV vampire dramas that I became utterly hooked on. They were an indulgence and form of escapism during my teaching days - I've never been a fan of the usual soaps, except for Knots Landing in the 80s.
