Sgwarnog: In the Field

Drift

Some early morning sunshine provided an opportunity to do some justice to the fabulous drift of crocuses in Bradford's Lister Park - picture this scene stretched over a third of a mile.

The statue is of Samuel Lister, one of the major Victorian industrialists that has had an enduring influence on the city.

Not such pleasant scenes elsewhere in the park, as I found a lifeless Mute Swan drifting on the boating lake, head in the water. Only yesterday I was admiring it swimming in the same spot.

So good to see the message from Joe to the blip community this evening, and hopefully an indication that there is life in the site yet. I only hope that if it is revived the folk at Blip Central can return to the fold in some form.
