Happy St. Patrick's Day!

"There is still not a consensus over the precise botanical species of clover that is the "true" shamrock."

The Oxalis acetosella or Wood Sorrel has apparently been ruled out by most authorities as the true shamrock.
But I am not a purest.
It looks like a shamrock- I love the purple variety with pink flowers- and so I celebrate with it every year. I typically have to replace it every year but they really are hardy.
If it takes me more than 6 months to kill a plant, it is hardy. :)

Of course, I did add cactus into this shot - it only seemed fair to AZ.
