New build latest

Ok, it has been a while since I have reported on the "New Build" which started here. A project of this size seems slow, but it has continued more or less non-stop for more that two years now, usually with just a couple of boatbuilders, male and/or female on the case every day. Other maintenance work in the yard carries on as well. At key stages four or even five hands will be working on, and she now has a name, Polly.
The interior is largely finished, and the coachroof is on. You can see here the cockpit is well under way and it won't be long before the teak deck will be added. The wood for that is largely prepared. The electrician will also soon be doing his first fixes.
The boss is at his drawing board most evenings working out the design and measurement of the rig; the spars (mast, boom, bow-sprit, etc.) will be made in house.
