Crocuses

The crocuses in the park grow randomly - sometimes there are clumps near the base of a tree, a few spread across the grass, others in the shelter of the bushes but few withstand the inclement weather, dogs feet, children's games and sometimes even my feet when I'm trying for a good photo.  It won't be long now until they disappear for another year.
