Rampant Dragons

Rampant Dragons on the roof of Woodstock School in Henbury, Bristol.

I was there doing some other photos. The building and these amazing gargoyles really intrigued me, and I just had to do some photos of these amazing stone beasts.

The building apparently dates back to the 1700's. It was build by John Sampson in 1688.

The house was known originally as Henbury Awdelett but later generations preferred Henbury Manor.
