Soaking wet

We woke up to the sound of heavy rain but that didn't put us of! We ate our stolen Cinnamon buns and blueberry muffins and hit the road. Unfortunately the drive wasn't quite as a beautiful in the rain however once we got to Crescent Lake, it had got brighter and made everything look very dramatic. We were trying to find a hike but couldn't find it so just walked along the lake for a little bit and returned to the car soaked all the way through! On the map we had spotted a lodge but it was closed for winter - no hot chocolate for us. We dropped the hire car back and braved the rain for some lunch. Tripadvisor lead us to a really cute cafe and I had thee best roast beef panini. The ferry ride back seemed quick and before I knew it, I was back in cluster sat at my desk revising...
