Buttermere at it's best!

The plan today was to go to Crummock Water with the group. Drove over Newlands valley and saw Buttermere mirror calm, drove onto Crummock and was surprised to find it ripply - not a reflection in sight. 

Turned the car round and headed back to Buttermere, which stayed calm for the next few hours - just a fabulous time.

My flu seems to be getting worse - and for only the second time in 17 years, my guests sent me to bed after dinner, rather than doing the evening appraisal session.
