Fun on the beach!

Usually the beach below the house is a mixture of stone, rock and seaweed but when it is a low tide, like today, the sand at the bottom of the shore is exposed.

While I ferreted about looking for bits of pottery and interesting shaped stones, Ollie and Scratch exhausted each other!  Both sleeping soundly now, and smelling of the sea!
