I really shouldn't be in charge of kids.  

This was actually part of an English project.  I am teaching them how to use flashbacks as a narrative device, and I am working with a little writing group creating a multimedia version of a terrific short story.  F here is being an old man who slips on a boat and falls to his death into a canal.  Cheery stuff.
