Vintage (Not Derelict) Thursday

Saw these two vintage vehicles on the way back from golf today, bringing back memories of zTV programmes from my childhood such as No Hiding Place, Z Cars and Softly Softly.

The owner is well known locally for renovating old public service vehicles like this and recently drove a vintage fire engine he had restored from John O'Groats to Lands End for charity.

We came down to Tiverton this afternoon to continue clearing Tess's parents' flat. After an a couple of hours clearing bookshelves I think I may have enough reading material to last me a few years!
