The view from the sofa

After yesterday's euphoria at getting shot of the cast today has felt like a step backwards. It's pure impatience on my part but my foot and ankle are so immobile that I can hardly do the very simple exercises that will get them working again. Less self-pity needed and more concentrating on the good things like being able to take a shower in the morning for the first time in two weeks - Stinky Pete was nobody's favourite Toy Story character!
