Bus Trip

The Aldershot and District Bus Interest Group held a Centenary Running Day today at Farnborough Airport.

There were preserved buses running throughout the day between local towns - al for the princely sum of 20p to charity (and that was to satisfy street trading regulations!) Not surprisingly, given the weather, this was one of the more popular buses running between the station and the site.

Some of these old timers seem to be trundleling around quite happily, unlike one of the more modern buses (from 1985 based on its registration) which failed to move all afternoon, and its driverwas last seen heading to the back carrying a hammer.
