Frustration

Today lots of things didn't go well.  Nothing of any consequence but irksome all the same.

Now, it's my practice to emphasize the positive.  So I'd like to remember the fabulous conversation between a colleague and a dear friend with me as conduit.

Also, out of one of the frustrating bits came a ray of light.  I was at the Post Office trying to buy a particular foreign currency and was served by a lovely man who said he would definitely remember me when I come back in on Monday.  I was doubtful.  But then we both remembered that we had met before last August and he was incredibly helpful then, too - well above the call of duty.

So, even if the day wasn't as productive as I would have liked, much good came out of it.
