It's bolted...

Rust is the enemy of many a metal object but can be a friend to a photographer.

This  bolt is one of many holding together the sea defences, or groins, that protect against erosion on the beaches. Not certain if the depth of field was fully working in my favour for this shot but here it is anyway.
