Our House

Today the money changed hands and this is officially our house.  Well the bank's as well.  I'm not expecting anyone from Schwäbisch Hall to come live with us though.

This was taken from the back garden.  You can see the living room on the ground floor, my home office on the first and G's on the second.

We move in next month and we have a lot of work to do before that happens.

When Germans move house they typically take everything - light fittings, the kitchen, everything.  We had been surprised to find some tea-towels and a third of a bottle of washing-up liquid.

And not so surprised when G got an E-Mail asking for the tea-towels and the washing-up liquid.

Really.

We start work on it tomorrow.  I shall take a slew of "Before" pictures.
