Morning eclipse wake up call

Day of the eclipse. We ventured outdoors after Mark telling me it had been and gone! He was wrong.
Broken cloud and no pin hole viewer meant visibility wasn't brilliant but an eerie half darkness fell.
Going out for John's birthday tea tomorrow night instead now as a few things have cropped up.
Waiting for Mark now....
