A breed apart

They were right.

Several blippers have been to the Rheged Herdwick exhibition – photographs from a book by Ian Lawson – and said how stunning it is. We made it at last and found they were right! Fantastic photographs of Herdwicks in their Lakeland home. A beautiful exhibition. Whatever one thinks of sheep and what they do to the landscape, one cannot help but love these glorious creatures and the photographs of the fells are amazing. Certainly an exhibition well worth going to if you are in the Penrith area. (However, I’m not sure whether it was just us, but we did feel the colours were a little too saturated. Such brilliant photographs would be great without the density of colour. Just a thought. )
